Description
Tomatis®Sound Therapy Training is an intense process of learning to understand development, neurology, as well as application of therapeutic tools to support the practitioners’ process. Maude Le Roux has applied this methodology to her clinical process since 2003 and have been training internationally since 2009. This intensive online workshop, second in a series of 4 workshops, focuses on the Tomatis® Listening Test System (TLTS) and its use. During this training practitioners will deepen their knowledge of the ear-voice connection supported by the vestibular-auditory systems through air and bone conduction. The Tomatis®Listening Test will be introduced and explained in the full practicality of the use thereof, including how to interpret the findings to be informed on client progress. This active measurement is an important step forward into understanding each client’s individual profile and allows for increased specificity in program planning. The Tomatis® Listening Test System (TLTS) is a unique feature to the Tomatis program and allows for a fuller immersion in the depth of the Tomatis Method. Additional program planning features will be added to the practitioners’ tool box. Clinicians have so many choices in sound therapy programs today, all derived from the original work of Dr. A. Tomatis. Training in the original Tomatis Method is truly an experience of specificity, practicality and applicability over a wide array of different client profiles.
Outline / Agenda:
The practitioner will join an initial 5 live online webinar sessions during which to ask questions related to the e-clinic learning. The E-clinic consists of reading material and video tutorials that practitioners can have access to repeatedly during their learning process and beyond. A 6th online session is planned for 4 weeks later to support questions on listening profiles after a number of weeks of practice. Contact [email protected] for more detail.

I really enjoyed this class. There is just something special about Tomatis practitioners discussing a case and looking through familiar profiles through the Tomatis lens. Thank you for facilitating an excellent course, Maude. You handled a variety of people/levels and backgrounds masterfully.
Sanette Louwrens, USA
TOMATIS Practitioner | Level 4
I work with children, sometimes adults, continuously who have learning difficulties and present with different combinations of the areas Maude covered in her course. The course equipped me with a better understanding of these difficulties, how they present, how to interpret at the listening tests and how to apply all of the mentioned areas in dealing with the client and compiling a program for the client. Thank you very much for a wonderful course!
