Vision, Vestibular and Visual Spatial Skills – Unfolding what we see, and how we see – Recording

Description: This one-day live workshop was converted to an online workshop due to Covid19. 5 sessions were recorded for online viewing at your own pace for a period of 4 weeks. For attendees it will create a fuller understanding of the incredible complexities of vision and how we create our adaptive response to what we see. From the neuro-anatomy through ocular motor and visual spatial skill, the workshop participant will glean a fuller lens through which to assess and create effective intervention plans. Not only will the different definitions of function make practical sense, but the participant will feel equipped with new tools of assessment as well as intervention. A practice lab of activities will support the integration of the learning and ensure practical carry over into the work environment. This course is a good compliment to understanding the development of praxis and intervening with executive function and reading and writing difficulties. Discover how this all fits together in the developmental frame of understanding.
