Description: We live in a world today where trauma is everywhere and no one can really escape it in some shape or form. The Covid epidemic had global impact and the rates of child and domestic abuse have risen. We experience natural disasters, medical traumas and a multitude of experiences threatening to take away our joy in the world we live in. This workshop will explore the different definitions of trauma and its’ implications on functional daily living across different domains. We will take the participant on journey to understand how the different facets of the Tomatis Method can assist these implications from a sensory-physical to and emotional point of view. Maude will discuss the importance of a trans-disciplinary approach in this very complicated work as well as provide resources about where to learn more. The Tomatis practitioner will be able to connect the different parameters of the Tomatis Method through case studies and practical application. The participant will not only listen, but also participate in creating opportunity for practical application of the material. Together, we can join our work to support healing in others!
