Description

Description:
Join us for 8 sessions (90 to 120 minutes each week) to explore what would be needed to effectively consider the necessary components in developing reading skill. Educational reading assessments consider if the child can decode fluently or comprehend the material they read. A developmental reading assessment considers the pathways in the brain that is necessary in order to develop the readiness to decode and integrate the information with fluency and comprehension. This process is one-of-a kind and quite uniquely developed by Maude Le Roux, using her Developmental Pathways Model with a twist. It bridges is very necessary gap between development and acquiring reading skill for the purposes of education.
