Identification, Assessment and Intervention of Dyspraxia: Singapore - June, 15-17, 2020

This 3-day workshop will include the theory of different sub-categories of Dyspraxia and explain the background in the nervous system. Multiple techniques and interventions (top down and bottom up) will be shared in order to plan intervention. The second day will cover in-depth information on assessment and clinical observations following the three-phase system of Maude’s own Developmental Pathways Model (DPM). This is a workshop not to be missed for anyone working in the field of pediatrics, schools, and early learning. Discover how Dyspraxia influences learning, attention and executive functioning. Occupational and Speech Language Therapists, who attend all three days, will receive a certificate of Intermediate competency in Dyspraxia.

Date: 15 – 17 June 2020

Target Audience: The first day of the course can be attended by Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapists, Teachers, Physicians, Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers. The second and third day will only be for Occupational and Speech Language Therapists.

Educational Level: Intermediate

Pre-Requisites: Degree in related field

Number of participants: Unlimited

Instructional Methods: PowerPoint, question/answer, Video demonstration, Practice Lab

Assessment: Completion of workshop evaluation form as well as completion of template on one case study on the last day of the course.
